L'uomo che cammina (di notte)

This prayer is in response to Russia's 2022 war against Ukraine. This is a short prayer for all those suffering and living in strife. May you be comforted. May you know deep in your bones that even after this darkest night the sun will rise.

To attack and to raise the nuclear stakes is wanton disregard for life. Regardless of one’s political views, the fact is that nuclear weapons drastically and destructively alter nature - all of it - from the physical environment, to every being within that environment. If one does not die in the initial attack, that generation and subsequent generations are subject to higher rates of disease and other maladies.  Why embrace this option? Why even think to place this burden on you, on your country?

For me, this track takes me back to when I was a little girl. Sat in the back of my Mom's car, playing games on my gameboy.

Voxella was made from a quick flame of inspiration to test some new techniques and sounds. And, although it isn't as refined as the tracks I'm currently working on. This song charmed me! I couldn't leave it sitting in a "experimental songs" folder, gathering dust.
