This is Ott's best known and most played track, and the most successful of our collaborative tracks. The main melody which runs through the track, which a lot of people think is a synth, is in fact me singing, put through various processing methods by Ott, who wrote the rest of the track, and produced and mixed it. We also do this one live, in the band, and this represented the biggest challenge we had to face in the Ott & The All-Seeing I project - how to translate this into a live performance. It was an honor getting to be a part of the creative powerhouse that is The Glitch Mob. Having been friends for 15 years or so, and watching each of them progress over the years, it has been incredible to experience their triad of musical wizardry. My favorite part about this song is that we didn't end up with some hands-in-the-air banger, and instead it’s like this deep unicorn make-out track or something. Although I couldn't find the word in a dictionary, Justin informed us that “a paracosm is a detailed imaginary world created inside one's mind. This fantasy world may involve humans, animals, and things that exist in reality; or it may also contain entities that are entirely imaginary, alien, and otherworldly.” Perhaps the word is merely a paracosm in Justin's mind, but either way I hope there are unicorns there…

West coast bass music favorite Phutureprimitive returns with a collection of songs featuring five unreleased original tracks, a new remix of ‘Praise Her’ by Desert Dwellers, and three previously released singles, including collaborations with An-Ten-Nae, Adey Bell, Joe Muscatello, and NIMITAE. ‘Congruence’ is a strong musical return for Phutureprimitive, and releases on the first day of his upcoming ‘Altered Frequencies’ co-headline tour with An-Ten-Nae.

‘Congruence’ is a reflection of Phutureprimitive’s own journey into his psyche, spanning over the last several years. Seeking to shine the light of awareness on his blind spots, presuppositions, motivations, and core fears, his own personal work has influenced the creative process and approach to producing music. Finding deeper levels of self-acceptance and moving through the world with a greater level of choice, influence, and congruence, has shaped the development of this release.

Phutureprimitive’s focus on emotion, and drawing from life experiences, allows for the continuation of the project to be a reflection of his own personal evolution. ‘Congruence’ being the latest insight into Phutureprimitive’s process, offers his most polished, refined and graceful release to date.

Coming off the success of his previous singles released on the Gravitas Infusion series, Orenda returns to Gravitas Recordings to make his full EP debut with Reverie. For his first time working on a musical project of this magnitude, Trevor wanted to contribute to the emerging world bass scene. Reverie is inspired by the marriage of ethereal musical elements with aggressive, powerful bass. Representing a battle between light and darkness, which combat overhead a fusion of world music influences, all seven tracks present the stark contrast on both sides.

Listeners are transported to a majestic land in the title track “Reverie,” hastily greeted by an enchantress who observes the battle as light and darkness collide into a powerful bass. Produced alongside Equanimous, tribal chants are consistently relayed in "Mystic Descent" to accompany the beautiful soundscape and chill oscillations that follow. Cackles precede deep dub in “Numinus” as darkness strategizes its plan of attack. On the other side, the light warriors prepare for the next battle within a dark cave, while mystical currents flow through the water to provide strength in “Marmoris.” Glitch and dub unify in “Fracture,” lamenting on the ruptured state of the land. “You Know” is the calm before the storm, as a vibey bass prepares each side for its last chance at triumph. Featuring DTO, “Gāyatrī” concludes Orenda’s debut EP as each side embarks on an ethnic expedition towards the battlegrounds.
