For the 4th mix on the series, we went on a deep dive into the realms of Berlin's underground scene and were lucky enough to get Basic Instinct aboard along the way. 

The Berlin-born and raised has been active and present in the local dancefloor business for over 15 years, known in the scene for his extended sunrise sets at Watergate and his releases on Anja Schneiders' label Sous Music, as well as his own labels Phantom Dream & Vertere Berlin Records.

As a DJ and producer he is known for his atmospheric dub house sound, blending deep aesthetics with energetic rhythms, and that's exactly what he provides us with today.

Manual aka Manscream, who will be playing B2B with Lässig co-founder Kristiaan Kiwitz made a groovy and proggy mixtape for you so you can get into the mood for our fourth edition!

Manscream - is a 27-year-old Croatian-born, Amsterdam-based DJ who weaves sound like it’s second nature. Raised in the coastal city of Pula, his ears were first opened by the magic of Dimensions and Outlook festivals. Outlook’s heavy basslines sparked his love for drum and bass, while Dimensions introduced him to the pulse of four-to-the-floor rhythms in all their rich, genre-blurring forms.
Since 2013, he’s been shaping his sound across the edges of Croatia’s alternative scene - from intimate bars and sunlit terraces to local festivals and shadowy backroom dance-floors. Now calling Amsterdam home, he brings that same spirit to private parties, radio waves, and off-grid spaces that value raw connection. His musical style flows freely between Balearic warmth, Mediterranean soul, moving grooves, acid swells, and deep, rolling energy. One foot in the sunlight, the other in the underground, driven by connection and a pure, unfiltered love for sound.

Amsterdam-based DJ and host of the weekly show Offbeat Transmissions on Amsterdam's Most Wanted. Offbeat Transmissions is aired every Wednesday between 10pm and midnight (CET) in partnership with Ketrix & cathü, who are also my fellow co-founders of the Lässig party series. Has played the decks at bars and clubs across Amsterdam - including Toekomstmuziek, Oosterbar and De Trut - and at Paal69 in Zandvoort.


Originally hailing from the southern city of Tilburg, Kristiaan has called Amsterdam his home for almost two decades. His passion for electronic music has been driven by the rich scene in Amsterdam. Particularly the eclectic sound – where any style goes as long as it flows - championed at venues like Trouw, De School and Dekmantel Festival fueled his passion for dance music and has shaped his ongoing desire to discover new music. 

In his sets Kristiaan,  delivers a high-energy fusion of uptempo progressive house, trance, and hardhouse, with a signature flair for broken beats and retro vibes. His sets are dynamic and bouncy, blending deep basslines with intricate breakbeat textures that keep the dancefloor alive. With a sound that's both nostalgic and forward-pushing, Kristiaan weaves classic influences into a modern, proggy framework. It's an experience designed to move bodies and captivate ears.
