INNERVISIONS ÜBERALL w/ Âme DJ 130625

Known as masters of the DJ arts tied to Berlin’s AWAY parties, Andreas Horn (aka Discrete Circuit) and Christian Vance these days operate as Away Soundsystem. It’s their new project linked to the impressive party-series, but also to the label of the same name. If you missed it, they just released the second record that includes remixes from Joe Claussell and Mr. Ties and it’s fantastic. As they are able to command audiences for hours, taking them up and down, round and round, picking up the likes of DJ Koze, Axel Boman, Derrick May and Kenny Larkin who played at their parties, they sent a little bit longer mix than my guests usually do. So, there is a bonus of 30 minutes for the last week of April. From house to techno, in your face, subtle and gentle, it’s all there. Keep an eye on them.

Pampa, Dekmantel, Live At Robert Jonson, Fit Sound, Scissor & Thread and Minor Planets provided the music from the future for the first part of the show.

Broadcasted on the 28th of April, 2016 on Radio AS FM in Belgrade and Novi Sad, Serbia.

Groove Podcast 55 - Discrete Circuit

The musical identity of Berlin’s Discrete Circuit is shaped by the creative vibrancy of Berlin and the soul of Detroit, as well as the energy of house and techno in its most timeless form. Originally started as a duo in 2012, Discrete Circuit is now a one-man project by Andreas Horn, who also runs the emerging AWAY parties in Berlin as well as the newly established vinyl label of the same name. Early 2015, DVS1 releases “Incursion” on ‘The Brunette’, a various artists EP on Mistress Recordings. It ends up to be one of thé underground hits of the year and gets crowned in the GROOVE magazine readers poll (‘Best Track Of The Year’ by the readers n° 7 / by DJ’s n° 10). Discrete Circuits comes also out as second in the category ‘Newcomer Of The Year’. By June that same year Delsin Records re-launch their Inertia sub-arm to release the first full EP by Discrete Circuit “Machine Code”. Textured and atmospheric, this EP is one for late night techno loving warehouse crews around the world. Discrete Circuit keeps the tempo going and early 2016 a second full EP “Redial” is brought to life on Mark Broom his Beard Man stamp. With Discrete Circuit the connection between Berlin & Detroit got a new reinforcement.
