"The Blood" is one of my favourite songs from Andrae Crouch. On the new CD it is  performed by Evie Törnquist Karlsson, a good friend of me and the choir. I really hope you will enjoy this version.

Here comes song nr. 3, "I'm So Glad Jesus Lifted Me". The leadsinger, David Thomas, is a dear friend from Germany. He is leading this song in a wonderful way. I get really happy when listening to this tune from Thomas A. Dorsey. Real Chicago gospel. It's not mixed yet, but the message is still coming through.

Just A Closer Walk With Thee

"Highway to heaven" is a typical Chicago gospel tune. 20 years ago I produced an album with Jessie Dixon, who lived most of his life in Chicago.
When I listen to the recording, it reminds me of him and the wonderful time we always spent together at least one time a year. Unfotunately he past away almost a year ago. For shure he has walked up the Kings Highway.
On this CD Samuel Ljungblahd is the leadsinger. I love the way he sings.

Today I will introduce you to a singer from Holland. Pearl Jozefzoon is her name. I met her a year ago in a concert. She came number two in "The voice of Holland". On our new album she sings "Sometimes I feel like a motherless child". Only one thing to say: Awesome.

Right now I'm in the studio, working with Bjørn Erik Pedersen, a great engineer, located in Asker. He has recorded and mixed the last 5 albums from OGC. Just now we do the last mix.

Today we will introduce you to the wonderful song "Precious Lord Take My Hand", written by Thomas A. Dorsey. The first gospel composer ever. He lived in Chicago, and this is probably his most wellknown song. Kine and Gro are the leadsingers.

The song of today is "Jesus is the light of the world". This song I learnt many years ago in First Church Of Deliverence in Chicago. This song is the opening song in every service, and has been from around 1930. Two times every Sunday it is broadcasted on the local radio in Chicago. My good friend and brother in Christ, Calvin Bridges, is the leadsinger. No one sings lead like him!

Dear friends.
I'm so glad that you are following the prosess making the album "I Go To The Rock". Today the CD has been mastered. That means it will be out in time for the tour in Holland next week. The song of today is:
"Let us break bread together". This is a song most people who goes to church knows very well. A real gospel classic. This version is without a lead singer.

Finally. Here comes the last song. The titlesong of the album, I Go To The Rock. I heard this song for the first time in the 70s with Dannibelle and Choralerna. In the movie "Preachers wife", Witney Houston is doing an outstanding version of the song. Here it is in our version. Hans Esben is doing the lead.
