The chapters of this EP are written and interpreted by Theo Gramal as an invitation to dream with them, feel them, dance to them. May they be shaped by playing around with instruments or be inspirations from travels or collaborations - each pattern, baseline or melody has been a little adventure and eventually will be a new one for you, your ears and your soul.

Dear friends, it feels really special to share with you Azimuth, my first album project.

Guided by the seasons, the album will be shared in four chapters over the next year and includes collaborations with inspiring artists.

°Nord is the first chapter of this story, inspired by Earth's elements below zero. Boréal textures and wooden instruments, ice particles and forgotten voices. This chapter is an hommage to those beings who allow us to breathe and exist, here and now.

I hope Azimuth can help to amplify nature's vibrations on which we can realign our compass. It's together that we can truly harmonize and synchronize, in order to heal ourselves and our planet.

Forever grateful to be sharing this journey with all of you.

Neighbourhood is an ambivalent matter, it always depends on who the neighbors are. A young family with small children requires different understanding and consideration than a retired couple. Students and party-people should stick to their own kind. Often, you cant choose your neighbors. Therefore, agreements should be made and such agreements should be honored. Most of the time, there is an acceptable solution for all parties involved. This way, neighborly relations may even become a pleasant affair. Joe Carls remix of "Midnight Pathfinder" hits his style and our taste exactly. His interpretation introduces a different vibe compared to the original. The narrative is extended and new accents emerge."The Neighbor“ remix by Mira Vana has absorbed the driving energy from the original. Slightly more melodic and still retain its darkness, the song captivates the human Consciousness. Accompanied by a purring Reese bass, a melancholic lead guides us through this journey.

We extend our wishes to Her Majesty for a safe and pleasant journey. Joe Carl once again knows how to skillfully blend captivating melodies and expressive bass. This typical effortlessness paired with precision in production, can also be heard and felt in this piece. Joe doesn't do things by halves. 100% full speed ahead for the Queens locomotive.

This is the first, and probably not the last, of the Fairy Of The Lake of many colors. First there was the Blue Fairy, then, people, you asked for more, and we made up the Red Fairy, and, when you wanted more still, the White Fairy was put together. The remixes in the compilation are borrowed from many countries, Turkey, Russian Federation, France, Costa Rica, Canada. However much these nations differ about trifles, they all agree in liking fairy tales. The reason, no doubt, is that men were much like children in their minds long ago, long, long ago, and so before they took to writing newspapers, and sermons, and novels, and long poems, they told each other stories, such as you read in the fairy books. They believed that witches could turn people into beasts that could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. So the new SHANGO RECORDS EP is a compilation and includes seven amazing remixes for your personal book of tales. Songs about love, hate, broken dreams, suffocation and holding hands.
