I wrote this song a few months after my father died. The song is about my father’s life, our imperfect relationship, grief, and radical acceptance. If you have lost one or both of your parents, or anyone that you have loved imperfectly, then perhaps you might relate to it in your own way. I release this song into the ether, “New Mexico Bones.”
