A century of wolves,
Howled in unison,
Beneath the strike,
Of his premonition.
Complete and clear,
As if Godly mission.
In a blinding flash,
Came a fatal vision.

Standing bathed,
In magical light,
A noise boomed - 'Neon'.
His mind began to vibrate,
Another symbol - 'Fission'.
Glyphs burned into his skin.
Strange patterns made from sparks.
For these, came the terrifying call,
"Registered Trade Marks!".

The wolves are quiet.
The moon's at peace.
And lessons drift like floating embers.
Nobody knows.
And nobody cares.
Because nobody remembers.

Now terrified, he ran.
To the excited wolves' howl.
To the sacred dome,
His ancestral home,
No devils were allowed.
But too late, he was.
Too late, he knows.
For everywhere he goes,
Golden arches, ribbons,
And things named - "Logos".
And then he knew,
He knew this sign.
To his future it was leaning.
A world of addiction,
And vile affliction,
Where freedom had lost its meaning.

The mighty glowed bright,
With its flashing coloured light.
Enticing, it invited.
A future grand,
It held out its hand,
And with a booming voice it alighted:
"Had no mortal sin,
Broken his mind.
Had none of his kin,
Been left behind.
He'd have woken,
To promised lands.
A global community,
With boundless proximity,
That now lay,
Ruined,
By selfish, greedy hands."

Then as fast as it came,
The cacophony and brightness,
A crash of thunder,
And blinding lightness.
He fell to his knees,
From a future violent.
The vision was over.
And now he stood, silent.
His fear deposed,
The sun rose,
And tears flowed with ease.
Though ghostly words,
Could still be heard.
Like a whisper,
In a soft breeze.
"The wolves are quiet.
