Bio: 
I've been fortunate to study with many great masters of different musical lineages: the kacapi in West Java with Ade Suparman; the guqin in Hong Kong with Yung Hak-chi; the kinko ryū shakuhachi with Gunnar Jinmei Linder in Stockholm; composition with Fujieda Mamoru in Fukuoka. In my practice as a composer and performer, these lineages combine to inform the societal and spiritual context for my work - a background in which artistic, contemplative and religious practice merge.
