Opuswerk’s reputation, once a well-kept secret behind the swiss mountains, is resonating beyond those peaks, from Berlin to Moscow or Paris. Either in the studio, solo or as HISS:1292 (his collaborative project with Parisian François X), or behind the decks, he’s known for his ability to craft those very special moments where life  nally makes sense. His sound, striking and poised, could be the soundtrack to the world thought by futuristic architects like Superstudio, Yona Friedmann or Zaha Hadid.
His ways to transport crowds and himself far away from the decks and the club, and the consistent quality of his dj sets have not only allowed him to play around Europe as well as for world famous clubs and fes- tivals, from the legendary Tresor (Berlin) to Mosaique (St Petersburg), and from Club Transmediale to Electron, but also earned him a resi- dency for the Techno Legends nights at le Zoo.
His solo and collaborative productions, released on labels such as Krill Music or Dement3d (as HISS:1292), have earned a place into the  nest djs bags, from Donato Dozzy to DVS1 or Peter van Hoesen to Anthony Parasole. Educated by dub and drum and bass, his approach to producing is heavely relies on hands-on techniques. His dedication and love for music and gear make it so that he spends most of his time in the studio, exploring new sounds and techniques while crafting beats on the  y. 2017 looks bright for Opuswerk, with upcoming releases on high pro le labels.

The next addition to our mini-series that aims to showcase some of the World’s newest and most exciting clubs through the eyes of their residents, takes us to Leipzig’s, Institut für Zukunft (IfZ) courtesy of Wilhem. As well as a resident at IfZ, Wilhelm is responsible for booking and promoting the Proto and Young Shields nights at IfZ who have hosted the likes of Roman Flügel, Âme and Samo DJ. 

The mix on offer is a real treat as Wilhelm takes the listener on a journey from electro, to breakbeat and acid. All tracks are given time to develop and mixes between perfectly timed.

@roza-terenzi is an Australian DJ and producer whose sound folds into the fuzzy, lo-fi style of contemporary house music that’s blossomed in recent years. Originally from Perth, and now based in Melbourne, Roza Terenzi has released two strong EPs in 2017: The O.G., on Good Company Records, and Mwah, on rising Dutch label Kalahari Oyster Cult. This April, she’s due to release the Planet Euphorique EP, a collaboration with DJ Zozi, AKA Vancouver producer D. Tiffany; it’ll be the debut of D. Tiffany’s Planet Euphorique label. The EP was recorded over the past year, between Vancouver and Melbourne, and features, in their own words, “heavenly pads, intricate bleeps and breakdance-worthy drums.” For her Choice Mix, Roza Terenzi’s sound orbits Planet Euphorique.

After just a couple of years DJing that spawned from promoting her own Club Lux parties at Lounge, Matilda has become a regular fixture at other Melbourne hotspots like Hugs & Kisses (RIP) and Loop, where she would navigate through a blend of electro, techno and industrial vibes (all heard in this stomping mix). Her latest venture is recently established party with Brooke Powers called Powertrip, a queer-focused event where the two DJ's book artists that inspire and provoke thought. All that and talks of dabbling in production have got us excited to see what Matilda will do in 2019!
