SULEIMAN RECORDS is a Montreal boutique digital label founded by DJ/producer Darem Aissa. The name of the imprint pays homage to Syrian poet Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of the most prominent contemporary Arab poets.

The intent of SULEIMAN RECORDS and its vinyl-only sub-label AISSA RECORDS is to promote and produce positive, quality, underground electronic music. Taking influences from House, Techno and the many amalgamations in between, involving a diverse array of talented artists worldwide.

BIOGRAPHY

Leipzig/Germany based artist Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse is taking Electronic Music into a new level with the experience of 25 years in the business. Starting to produce his own music in the 1990s Marc went through a long journey to develop his signature sound with his typical handscript.

Marc has established as a unique DJ by performing on the biggest international stages, DJing in over 40 countries worldwide. His productions lead him to be the best selling artist in Indie Dance music (Top #1 artist on Beatport in 2023).

After appearances on major labels such as Diynamic, Einmusika, Katermukke, SINCOPAT or Parquet (in total over 500+ releases in the past 2 decades) Marc was releasing his third artist album "Together Alone" on Katermukke in 2022.

In addition to his own productions, Marc is running the hyped imprint JEAHMON! Records and also invites his favorite artists and friends on his platform “How I Met The Bass” which is a storyteller project that became a big brand over the last decade.

EM-JãŸ hails from Longford in the midlands of the Republic of Ireland . Now into his third year here in BC , he comes via the Rave scene in Dublin in the late 90’s and moving to Edinburgh Scotland playing with The Drum Clinic SoundSystem in 2001 . After taking many years out from music and returning to college at SEM Manchester and graduating in 2019 is as enthusiastic if not more so than the younger days.Moving to Vancouver soon after SEM in 2019 ,EM-JãŸ spent his time playing music with one of the most active crews in Vancouver,BC “Vantek “ and More recently in late 2021 founding APX Collective and organizing events by Starting off at the now infamous underground club , The Mine , where he was instrumental in setting the place up and running and organizing events there.Now back in Manchester Uk , and spending time back at SEM Manchester at music production and sound design .Can be got Playing a broad range of sounds from minimal & melodic to hard Techno and House depending on the mood and time.
