I recorded this mix sitting on the carpet of my partner and I's new home, pulling out some old records and enjoying the comfort of our new living room which now also houses my custom green monitors. Sundays to me have a naturally relaxed and positive vibe and it's the same day that I throw my event 'Park Dub'. The music at Park Dub is generally a mixture of electronic dub tracks and more rootsy dub reggae but I usually tell the DJ's playing that 'anything with enough reverb and delay is fine', haha. I tried to capture the spirit of Park Dub in the mix.

"This mix is inspired by the atmosphere of Champs Elysées, and its relationship to Dance music in the 2000's and today.
I've been djing in this area of Paris for some time now, and it made me love to play extended sets, 4/5 hours usually, trying to slowly build a whole vibe, more than playing banger after banger.

I wanted to make a mix that is 100% me, that people can listen to and straight away get the idea of what would it sound like to hear me play. 
It's also an ode to the early Champs Elysées days of dance music, with the Respect is Burning parties in the 2000's especially. All the great French and international DJ's were playing there and were bringing their own sound in a very motley, eclectic vibe, I love it."

Two years ago we hosted a podcast from the Istanbul diva Zozo. Today we introduce you to Ece Özel, the talented artist from the same beloved place. She conquered our hearts with her passion to mysterious music connections, crazy records and eclectic DJing since 2009. She's a resident of Minimuzikhol, where she's throwing her own parties full of weird forms of dance music, Özel Zevkler. You can also catch our homie behind the decks in Zurich or hypnotizing dancefloor of the odd disco festival Camp Cosmic. The Ece's podcast for us is a shimmering emerald stars of space synth disco in the company of cold icebergs of minimal synth, sometimes cracking from the hot sands of this woman's heart. In other words, this mix is a Universe, but warm inside.
