Many might recognize this from Selena Gomez’s intro to “Come and Get It”. This was sung by Dr. Masuma Anwar, a Punjabi singer. This “song” comes from a 500 year old Punjabi  Kalam/Ghazal (free verse poem) called “Peera Ho” written in the 16th century by Shah Hussain.
