Hardcore’s most exciting new voice RABBeAT delivers a punishing 8-tracker of seismic kickdrums and mournful screams on New York’s Hammerhead Records. Meditating on withdrawal from the world, Lyon-via-Madagascar artist Julien Ravit is at his most vicious, bucking between paranoid, pitiable, and triumphant.

Threat is a blistering first volley, a 140 BPM track that feels like 160, narrating a hunt from the perspective of prey. Escape follows with a 9 minute lament on loneliness, sharp staccato drums biting the ear and reverberating in the recoil. Ravit has retooled two of his first "lonely tracks," Quiet and Isolation, both of which sound louder (and sadder) than ever. The album closer Do You Wonder Why I Prefer To Be Alone is a surprising ballad, pairing Ravit's signature kickdrum destruction with a ghostly voice singing a dirge of social death and reclusion.

The EP features dub mixes of three of the tracks for a more atmospheric effect. HMMRHD003 is available on CD, Digital, and also features a eucalyptus hand-dyed T-Shirt. With early support from Manu Le Malin, Densha Crisis, Kilbourne, and many others, What’s That, Who’s There is destined to be a classic of industrial hardcore.

Somniac One is a Lithuanian DJ and producer whose powerful sound and aesthetics have made her one of industrial and alternative hardcore's most exciting names.

Somniac One’s sound is intense, emotional, atmosphere-driven and technically precise. Her fierce kicks, combined with distinct, innovative sound design have made her one of the most respected artists of the new wave of hardcore producers. She has played at prominent hardcore festivals such as Defqon.1, Decibel and Masters of Hardcore, and she is one of a select few hardcore artists to break the mold and play at events like the Astropolis Festival, Motel Mozaïque, Bangface and Boiler Room.

Somniac One’s music is supported by some of the most prominent names in industrial hardcore and techno. She has released EPs on renowned underground labels Love Hz, Meta4 and Speed of Sound. She has also released several EPs on the nonconformist punk rock haven of hardcore that is the Rotterdam-based PRSPCT label, which now serves as her home base and booking agency.

Somniac One's fourth EP for PRSPCT XTRM is a love song to hardcore of yore, featuring two nostalgic original tracks and a hellfire remix of Party In My Head anthem 'Kill Everyone' by the one and only Deathmachine.

Somniac One's intense atmospheres and sledgehammer kicks get a euphoric lick on 'The Grand Awokening', a tribute to the millennium hardcore sound this industrial warrior was raised on. 'Hard Synths '92' meanwhile takes cues from even further back down the timeline, marrying early rave stabs and sentiment with Somniac One's thoroughly modern sound design and identifiable signature.

Technically skilled and hard as nails, Deathmachine then breaks the back of Somniac One's much loved 2018 banger 'Kill Everyone', delivering a crossbreed mutant remix that's gonna slay dance floors all over again.
