Globally renowned for his distinct progressive blend, Russian DJ and producer Shapov returns to Armada Music with a 3-track EP titled ‘Circles’, teaming up with fellow countryman Nerak. Opening with a dark and mysterious cut, ‘Vetra’ explores a melodic soundscape with chiming synths and an alluring vocal piece, further demonstrating Shapov’s musical maturity. For the three offerings, the pair craft a poignant production ‘Heaven’, which features a soft vocal, soaring synths and melodic sensibilities. Closing the EP in emphatic fashion with ‘Illusion’, this collaboration blends a driving bassline and dramatic synths with an enchanting vocal piece.

Kasablanca unveil ‘Can You Hear Me Now?’, the second single from their forthcoming ‘Immunity EP'.

This enigmatic melodic techno duo exploded onto the scene in summer 2020 with their Lane 8 collaboration, 'Run', a bonafide hit for both artists. As of January 2022, it’s been streamed nearly 18 million times on Spotify and charted at no.1 on SiriusXM BPM. 

Kasablanca's legend continues to grow. ‘Run’ was followed by their debut album 'Human Learning', and they've been touring globally ever since. The duo debuted their live show, replete with racks of modular synthesisers, at Red Rocks Amphitheater in September 2021 while supporting US bass superstar Rezz. 

In December 2021, they joined us at Anjunabeats, remixing Above & Beyond's 'Black Room Boy' as part of the '10 Years of Group Therapy' celebrations. Their first original music on the label arrived soon after. Released in January 2022, ‘Immunity’ playlisted on Diplo’s Revolution station on Sirius XM, and was described as “a sleekly propulsive slice of melodic techno” by Billboard. 

First heard in Lane 8’s winter 2021 mixtape, ‘Can You Hear Me Now?’ is the latest from one of dance music’s most intriguing acts. We're excited to say that there's more to come.
