Nuclear Magnetic Resonance is an etude-like piece that explores the use of molecular sonification, a type of sonification used in organic and analytical chemistry. The sonification of Hydrogen Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (H-NMR) spectra of more than 50 molecules found in the human body forms the sonic basis of the composition and further additions to the aural compendium are made through basic sound shaping techniques such as amplitude modulation and micro-editing, frequency modulation and graintable synthesis.

The placement of sonic material in the composition is related to the type and degree of their sonic transformation, each partition of the composition focusing on a different type of sound transformation process, systematically exploring the use of molecular sonification as an aesthetical tool for acousmatic composition.
