The new studio album from Gazpacho

Gazpacho were formed in Oslo in 1996 by childhood friends Jon-Arne Vilbo and Thomas Andersen along with Jan-Henrik Ohme (later joined by Mikael Krømer, Lars Eric Asp and Kristian Torp),

Between 2003 and 2010 the band released five albums. All these albums were either self-released or on Marillion’s Racket Records label but in 2010 the band signed to Kscope who gave an international release to the band’s album Missa Atropos in 2011.

This was followed in 2012 by March of Ghosts which was also released on Kscope who have since released London, a live album recorded at Dingwalls in Camden in January 2011.

The band returns in 2014 with Demon, their latest studio album. Missa Atropos was a concept album that dealt with themes of death, fear and loneliness and March of Ghosts is a collection of short stories telling the stories of a variety of characters from beyond the grave and Demon continues this tradition of telling rich stories through the course of the album.

The songs are based on 'the mad ramblings left behind by an unknown tenant in an apartment in Prague', and delve deep within the demon that possessed the inhabitant and explore the evil he has caused and all that he is capable of.

What began as a pioneering journey of melodic heavy music has outgrown all genres and limitations, fearlessly exploring new territories and new ways to express feeling through sound and now their star is rising ever higher.

Early pioneers of Norwegian black metal, ULVER have continually evolved throughout their career and now stand as living legends of the dark music industry, blending rock, electronica, symphonic and chamber traditions along with noise and experimental music to create groundbreaking material.

Last year they released the critically acclaimed War Of The Roses album which was described by Zero Tolerance as ‘a quite beautiful record of startlingly powerful depth’. They return in April with Childhood’s End, a collection of classic psychedelic tracks recorded by the band in late 2011.

The record label Kscope was created in May 2008 to provide a home for the growing post-progressive genre and an evolving, flexible and adventurous style of music without boundaries.

In recent years, a growing movement of bands has started to reclaim and reinvent aspects of the progressive, post-punk and post-rock genres, re-establishing a desire to experiment with eclectic musical sources and state of the art widescreen sonic possibilities. Kscope was created to provide a home for this evolving and adventurous style of music without boundaries, and was launched in 2008 with new albums from its first signings The Pineapple Thief and No-Man. New albums have since followed from the legendary likes of Anathema, Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree/Japan keyboard player Richard Barbieri, highly rated newcomers North Atlantic Oscillation and Lunatic Soul (the solo project from Riverside's Mariusz Duda).
