Pleased to welcome A Vision Of Panorama to the record on A2 who's 'Pastel Beach' is a breezy, tropical inspired rhythm to herald the sound of summer. On the flip side for B1 we have Bird of Paradise with 'Boys of Brass', an edgier club focused sound aimed at late-night dance floors. Finishing off the record on B2 is Coyote's 'Dead Feathers', a deep and emotive slow burner for just after twilight

The first release on Man Power’s Me Me Me saw FACT mag travel to Mexico to get inside the head of the Geordieman in Mexico. Next up for the label is a comeback record from Last Waltz, the trio with which Man Power first ever released, featuring three new, original tracks, and a remix from the first ever recorded collaboration of Tel Aviv’s Red Axes (I’m A Cliche) & Naduve (Disco Halal).


Last Waltz are Lee Forster (Lizards) Mick Rolfe (The Great Curve) and Geoff Kirkwood (Man Power). Outside of their solo projects, Last Waltz have released on labels including Futureboogie, Endless Flight (Mule Musiq), Tusk Wax, Lets Play House, Is It Balearic, and many more. After a two year break from producing together, the three North East England born producers finally felt brave enough to suffer the inevitable studio fist fights and tantrums that have always occurred during their creative process. This latest session has resulted in potentially their most cohesive and impressive output to date, with an EP that swings between deep excursions, psychedelic disco and industrial electro, only to have Red Axes and Naduve take the track into an altogether more low-slung and feral direction.


Me Me Me is shaping up to be an imprint for crate diggers, blurring the boundaries of electronic music and forging new channels for the dancefloor. Future contributions are incoming from Axel Boman, Mike Simmonetti, Chida, Fort Romeau, Hammer, Rex The Dog, Daniel Maloso, Last Waltz, James Hadfield (as Elizabeth Collective) and of course Man Power.


BACKGROUND
Man Power has risen to prominence over the past few years through a beguiling versatility that is eminent in both his DJ and production style, leading to key releases on ESP Institute, John Talabot’s Hivern Discs, Permanant Vacaction and Throne of Blood. He currently holds residencies at the esteemed Topaz Deluxe in his new station of Monterrey and at the equally chic MN Roy of Mexico City and his critically acclaimed 2015 album on Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant led to his title as one of XLR8R’s Artists of the Year.

After two standout releases on "Optimo Music", Glasgow electronic four piece "The Junto Club" return with their debut EP on brand new label "Snap, Crackle & Pop", born out of the London club night of the same name. The A side features two slices of dance floor ready post-punk, throwing references from everything from Suicide to Weatherall. On the B-side, Khidja's remix teases out the disco groove before growing into a monstrous acid house inspired freakout, paving the way for the Ivan Smagghe & Cross version which delves even further into acidy motoric beats.

PREMIERE : The Junto Club - Shiviana

Mushrooms Project boys Giorgio Giri and Marco Lentano are back with another strong 12", this time mixing fellow Italian disco outfit Soupaczar (so far as I can tell - Under The Shade never give us the barest sniff of sales info...). Their mix of "So Mr Leary" turns the Italo-prog of the original into an Italo-cosmic-prog driver. It's the A-side rework by Mixed Blood Cuts / Padded Cell man Richard Sen that really caught my ears here though. He dispenses with the rock vocals and heads straight to the dancefloor with an epic cosmic disco driver that really gets in a tight, funky groove - perfect 2am play. Ray Mang is also on hand to add one of his organic, percussive disco refixes, turing the vocals into a disco-not-disco holiday pop sing-along.
