Kennedy “K-$hellz” Shelton is a native of Port Arthur, TX, also known as the “Land Of The Trill”. Born on September 25, 1985, he grew up listening to a wide variety of different artists as a child. “Growing up, I was influenced by so many genres of music through my moms in the car, going to church, all the way to falling in love with hip-hop by the time I learned how badly I wanted to become a diverse artist who created only original and versatile content… I guess that’s why I listen to everything now… My life never limited me to one kind of music!” - K-$hellz.

The southern lyricist is often sought after by not only local artists, but also with many young fans around the country because of his diverse style of lyrics and beats. His flashy punch lines and metaphors give his flow an identity of its own. On November 25, 2006, K-$hellz landed a feature on the Beanie Sigel project entitled “Still Public Enemy #1″. The young artist had a 12 bar verse on the song entitled “All Nite”, and a chorus on the following track. This was means of exposure for K-$hellz in other states because the cd was released in select stores and received great feedback from critics. One of the many projects from K-$hellz, after the release of his feature, is the mixtape entitled “The Life We Chose″. This project was inspired by his personal hustle, being a 100% Certified K-$hellz original mixtape. On March 8, 2007, K-$hellz along with Dennis “D-FIFE” Hanna, Keith “Rico Montana” Roberts, and Arron “AD” Hyder founded 100% Certified Entrepreneurs. Being a founder, operator, and featured artist for the brand, K-$hellz keeps his hands full with recording, writing, mixing, and producing. He is not only a musical mutli-tasker, but also spends his time making wise, business-minded decisions for his team, companies, and career. K-$hellz hopes to be categorized among the elite artists of the game. His love for music and his work ethic cannot be denied.
