Ding Dong Ting 聽口嚼
is the sonification and performance of the fictional story of a family's adventure from temple to temple to taste the hot soup. The story is inspired by a game on the mandarin tongue twister, 'The monk brought soup to the tower, and the tower was soaked in the hot soup'. Our visit to a gong maker in a village in Taiwan, connects the memory of the echoes of vessels and voices in the cold mountain with the imagination of hot soup.

In these pieces, Sundialll emphasizes journeys rather than destinations.
Lica imagines the unpredictable sound of noises in unpredictable journeys of family adventures, by performing the mnemonic words of rhymes from her voice across genders and ages, and creating patchwork for performance images. Rama imagines the journeys by composing his percussive performance, synths, and concrete sounds from gong workshops through modular analog, utilizing polymeter and polyrhythmic as a result of his music residency and research around Middle East and Southeast Asia.

가상의 가족이 뜨거운 국을 맛보기 위해 절에서 절로 떠나는 모험 이야기를 소리화하고 공연한 작품입니다. 이 이야기는 중국어로 된 말장난에서 영감을 받았습니다: '스님이 탑에 국을 가져왔고, 탑이 뜨거운 국으로 젖었다'. 우리는 대만의 한 마을에서 징을 만드는 장인을 방문하여, 차가운 산속에서 울려 퍼지는 그릇과 목소리의 메아리를 뜨거운 국에 대한 상상과 연결시켰습니다.
이 작품에서 Sundialll은 목적지보다 여정을 강조합니다.
Lica는 가족 모험에서 예측할 수 없는 여정의 소음을 상상하며, 성별과 나이를 넘나드는 그녀의 목소리로 기억을 돕는 운율을 공연하고, 공연 이미지를 위한 패치워크를 만듭니다. Rama는 중동과 동남아시아에서의 음악 레지던시와 연구의 결과로, 모듈러 아날로그를 통해 징 작업장에서의 타악기 공연, 신스, 구체적인 소리를 다루며 다중 박자와 다중 리듬을 활용하여 여정을 상상합니다.

Lukas Kannemann, also known as @kskefk, is an experimental multi-instrumentalist whose transdisciplinary practice centers on in-situ improvisations, aiming to connect (non)spaces and their occupants – both collaborators and audience – through minimalist, multifaceted sonic explorations. His installative works and performances revolve around themes such as (non)spaces, (material) cycles, time(lessness), boredom, error, persistence, acceptance, interaction, and repetition. These elements become tools in his search for an intrinsic, trance-like state that carries both himself and the listener into a shared moment of sonic bliss.
