This is one of my favorite marshy-sandy shoreline places to go and listen to the Languages of Nature. There is a sandy shoreline built up from the scouring flow of Goose Creek, surrounded by black rush marsh and the neighboring fishing-people cottages of Live Oak Island, a blend of freshwater marsh sounds, Gulf of Mexico waves and boat motor-airplane-cottage background sounds. This dusk recording is a one hour audio clip of Gulf waves on one side, occasional boats and small planes out over the Gulf, fishing cottage background sounds and cormorants and frogs from the Goose Creek marsh all the while a steady but gentle rain is falling. I love this audio because there are so many sounds blending together. The clip is peaceful enough to sleep, study and relax listening to, especially as the cormorants stop calling as the sun goes down about twenty minutes into the recording. Enjoy!
