Grasping 2020 as the year to remember, we are unfolding 2021 with the highly-anticipated release from our Argentian friends Bridado Crew & Ubbah, who already shared their musical ideas with the remarkable split releases on Eleatics in 2018. This time Brigado Crew duo, who has already released their music via Diynamic, Stil Vor Talent and Eklektisch, joins Ubbah for 'Too Late' EP. The main track 'Too Late' is a driving banger, which is extensively concentrating ones' attention with the effective and bursting bass-line and low-end work. Vocals from the Australian singer Winnick are becoming the epicentre of the dynamic and explosive track, which will lit the focus of those, who love the floor-working things. Random synth playouts altogether with the noticeably working bass sounds plus the standalone Winnick's vocals takeover certainly bring the feeling of the energy. French producer Damon Jee had a fruitful 2020 year with the releases on Correspondant, Critical Monday and Fine Human from a few to mention, which led him to be one of the most sold artists of Indie Dance genre on Beatport. Known for his dark-disco brand style, Damon is shaping his remix catching the laid-back groove around main sounds from the original track multiplied with the dark-disco sound inherent to the remixers' sound. 'Time Moves On' has a very symbolic name. Mellow and palatable vocals alongside the melodic leitmotiv of the track are certainly bringing the right mood. Doctor Dru is the artist known for us since the previous decade. His sound always evolved into the right path, which is dictated by Dru's passion and devout love of electronic music combined with his years of experience and unerring will to roll out the very best tunes full of substance and dancefloor appeal. Releasing with Diynamic, Mobilee, Flying Circus and his own Jeudi Records, Doctor Dru has always been a figure to watch. Dru's remix brings the very best of Indie sound: colourful melodies and pads, mysterious vocals and the immense groove - that's what we have in the end. Crosstown Rebels’ offshoot label Rebellion inaugurates their 2021 release schedule with a four-track EP from YokoO. Titled ​Jivanmuktih​, the release includes a collaboration with Atlanta-based artist Bobi Stevkovski.

Speaking on the release, YokoO described how the current circumstances helped his creativity, stating: “​Following months of stillness away from touring life’s noise, disconnected from technologies and attuned to a profound state of presence in nature, I returned to my studio inspired and determined to create music that is different to what I had been known for. This EP showcases the continuation of my exploration through sounds as I transition further into my creative Self.”

Higher State ​leads proceedings and showcases the French-native at his best. Shimmering synths reside atop a punchy four-four bassline, whilst whispering hats echo softly in the background. The EP’s collaborative effort comes next in the form of ​Spiritus Sexualem​, which sees Bobi Stevkovski appear alongside. Stripped-back and spacious, reverberating vocals create an ethereal feel as minimal kick-hat combos round off the club-ready cut. ​Finis comes next, a progressive dancefloor number that features starry, emotion-fuelled chords before the title track brings things to a close with dubby kicks, soft pads and soothing vocal tones.

France’s ​YokoO​ is an esteemed talent in the melodic techno scene. Releases on Lee Burridge’s iconic All Day I Dream imprint, as well as M.A.N.D.Y.’s Get Physical, have cemented his reputation for all things deep, emotive and dreamy, whilst performances across all five continents have highlighted him as a truly global artist. Atlanta-based ​Bobi Stevkovski continues to establish his presence in the electronic music realm. A good friend of the French artist, Bobi is the founder of both Zamya Fest and Project B.

Straight out of Italy, we have an euphoric, melodic and vocal stomper delivered by Opposite Ways. 

Follow The Stars opens with a slow groover that brings a spaced out lead building slowly towards a crescendo. 

For title track Do Yourself, Opposite Ways teamed up with vocalist John M delivering a vocal techno endeavor filled with raunchy stabs and grooving percussion. While Opposite Ways deliver the synths, John M lays down the vocal in a perfect call and response teamwork. 

Erly Tephsi brings the heat with his remix pushing the tempo and groove in faster territories. Filled to the brim with craftsmanship synth design, we are very happy with this newest edition to our catalog. Enjoy!

Santiago Garcia - Yo No Olvido

Tunnelvisions is Emiel van den Dungen and Raynor de Groot. Both artists keep busy with their own solo projects (Milio and Coloray respectively) but continue to find fascinating middle ground when they come together in the studio. 2020 saw them step out on Moscoman's Disco Halal and Solomun's Diynamic, while they have also been remixed to great effect with influential DJs like Dixon and Tale Of Us playing the results. Now, though, they are back on Atomnation with another superb collection of cuts.

The undulating 'Acid Neverland' opens up with its succulent and supple drums overlaid with heavenly chords and glowing pads. Coloray's vocals are then layered in to bring some drive and attitude to this most compelling of tracks. 'King Cobra' is a dubby delight. Its airy hi hats, bulbous bass notes and tripped out melodic motifs all sinking you into a trance.

There is more angst and energy to the malfunctioning melodies and steel-plated drums of 'Mirrored Identities' while 'Waiting For The Morning' is a perfect dreamscape. It's a super widescreen track with deft pads coming in and out of focus, glistening melodies reflecting light and pulsing drums locking you in. 'Private XS' flips the vibe with more drawn out and sinewy synths gurgling and bubbling away as they ride up and down the scale like a slow motion cosmic explosion. Last but not least, 'End of Time' has the most pop hooks and catchy riffs of the lot. They dart about the mix as smeared pads and crunchy, punchy drums encourage you to cut loose.

This is another masterfully cohesive collection of colourful dance floor cuts that take in pop, techno and synth music and skew them the unique lens of Tunnelvisions.
