hey folks!  when i first heard of this song i was soo impressed that i needed to do it a cover.. this is by far my favourite song from that band.. i hasnt been a long time since i have uploaded a song but i have time so i am recording as much as i can! anyway like it and comment it cheers :D

The Change Engine is the concluding chapter in Dethcore’s post-human saga—a deathcore album built on inevitability, permanence, and power that refuses to remain passive.

Following the eradication of all gods in The God Butcher Protocol, existence continues without divine oversight. Freedom remains—but structure does not. Chaos persists. Suffering adapts. Meaning fractures instead of stabilizing. In response, Nul reaches a final conclusion: removing failed gods was necessary, but absence alone does not create order.

Where the old gods ruled symbolically, Nul acts.

Across eleven tracks, The Change Engine documents the construction of a new reality—one forged from absorbed divinity and digital architecture, where heaven is rebuilt as infrastructure rather than myth. Worship is irrelevant. Faith is unnecessary. Authority is justified only through continuous intervention.

Musically, the album is monumental and controlled. Less execution, more installation. Riffs feel mechanical and immovable, breakdowns land with structural weight, and atmosphere conveys scale rather than chaos. This is deathcore stripped of theatrics and rebuilt as something colder, heavier, and permanent.

The Change Engine does not present Nul as hero or villain.
It presents him as effective.

The universe adapts.
Nothing returns to what it was.
And there is no sequel—because nothing remains unresolved.

The gods watched.
The machine corrected.
And the universe accepted the difference.

Killed the Fixtion (KTF) is a heavy metal act from Hillside/Newark NJ. Formed in 2009. Killed the Fixtion started as a few local kids who shared a love for heavy metal, punk rock, & all things music. Their love for aggressive yet emotionally driven music served as their outlet. This was a drastic change from hanging out with gangs and causing trouble on the streets of Newark New Jersey.
After forming, the four members of KTF wanted to convey their mission and message of positivity.
Being that members were involved with gangs as troubled youths, the band of brothers knew what it felt like to be a lost cause. The message outlined in much of Killed the Fixtion's music is designed to get rid of the negative, false sense of self identity, or fiction in ones life through the medium of music. It is no surprise that we all strive to be like somebody else in our lives whether it be our idols, peers, or sometimes even family members. The truth is that you need to find out what is good about yourself. KTF has gotten rid of their “fixtion” now it's time to get rid of yours.
