Following on from Good Street Records' #FWUK#TRAX Series, showcasing UK Footwork, here is the first instalment in the Footwork World Tour EP Series. This series will highlight the best Footwork/Juke/Bass from various countries around the world, giving both well-known and less well-known artists a platform to release their music. 

We kick off with the Australia EP, maybe as far from the UK as we can get. First track is from Australian legends http://soundcloud.com/b_o_o_m_a, with a track titled Green LEDs. Next up, hailing from Sydney, is http://soundcloud.com/juke_of_edinburgh, with the loving, chilled track Tender Love. He brings a solid track titled 'Watch Me Juke Watch Me', with a confident beat and a catchy vocal. Straight back to the East coast is http://soundcloud.com/samm-wise, who brings a chilled, eyes-closed end to the EP, with a track titled Vibin'.

Talented French producers/DJs Superpoze and Stwo have teamed up to deliver their upcoming ‘Untitled/Late’ EP, set for release on 29th September through Combien Mille Records.

They are very much products of their generation, starting out as bedroom producers before gaining exposure through Superpoze’s live shows and Stwo’s Soundcloud page. Early on, their ingenuity caught the attention of record label bosses, leading to releases with Los Angeles’ Huh What and Where Records (Kaytranada, Ta-Ku) and Paris’ Kitsuné (Kilo Kish, The Magician).

The EP was produced between Stwo’s bedroom and Red Bull Studios Paris.

According to Superpoze, the collaboration with Stwo is a perfect match: “We both use hybrid rhythmics, harmonies, the softness of the piano and vocal cuts. It’s the way we use these sounds to different effect in our individual tracks – together we complement each other. Stwo created the beat for ‘Untitled/Late’ and I added the harmonic sequence.”

French artist Nathanne Le Corre’s abstract artwork, meanwhile, further symbolises their partnership: “It is a representation of Stwo and Superpoze mixing together, individual brushstrokes fighting together to fit into one shape – vivid colours, reflecting the sound and space of the tracks.”

It's so tight being able to take the show where ever I go. I did the show out of the Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. I was in town for A3C Fest wrapping up my Good Vibes Only Tour. Being able to take the show where ever I go and capture the culture while expressing myself is such a blessing. Shouts to the WERC crew.

Electronic producer Flako resides in London and has previously called Berlin and Chile home, but the lead track from his forthcoming Eclosure 12″ sounds as if it emerged from across the pond– specifically, from the burbling wonkiness of Los Angeles’ Flying Lotus-fronted Brainfeeder beat crew. Oftentimes, the sound that comes from Brainfeeder artists can resemble something of a locked groove, but “Honey Drips” opens up beautifully, dissolving into a soup of keyboard runs and tangled vocals.
