Ferdinger debuts on Skryptöm with ‘The Power of Ideas’ EP.

Its title alludes to the potency that beliefs and ideas can have on our behaviour and how they, in our current society and throughout all of human history, keep bringing out the best and the worst in people. 

The four original tracks are accompanied by remixes by two of Ferdinger’s favorite producers: ANNĒ and Kmyle, the former providing a straight four to the floor “techno” mix as well as a more experimental breakbeat version and the latter delivering a more introverted, tranced-out remix. The release is scheduled for 17 February 2023.

Glitter From The Snails EP marks the inception of a new chapter in my musical journey, promising a series of self-releases that unfold a personal and artistic exploration. The tracks featured in this EP were initially crafted between 2018 and 2019 but remained unreleased until now. In 2023, I revisited these creations, reimagining them while preserving the essential elements of their original versions.

"Kerosene" emerges as an anthem to the restlessness of the soul, a sonic portrayal of the anxious hues that linger beneath the surface. It is a composition born from the raw emotions that accompany nail-biting moments in life. On the other hand, "Poisoned By Mom" draws inspiration from a real-life narrative, infusing authenticity into the EP with its compelling storytelling.

The opening track, "Glitter From The Snails," was born in 2023, serving as the EP's introductory piece. It lays the foundation for the listener, providing a glimpse into the overarching vibe that defines the entire collection. The title, "Glitter From The Snails," draws imagery from the shimmering trail left behind by snails as they traverse their path.
