It sounds like the future, but it’s built for right now—where lines between are dissolving steadily, where hybridization is the crucial marker of potency. It opens with a heady half-time trek through deepest space, moves into fractalized downtempo territory, and then picks up the pace with uptempo arpeggiated bassline burners. DJ KMS's remix closes the record with deep house flair.
