A rising South American talent, Alonso Bierg is beginning to make a name for himself through releases on underground imprints globally. He marks his first release on Black Seven Music with two signature label-focused dancefloor jams - loaded with rhythm and quality. 

‘Move Back’ opens the release with an undulating bed of drums and percussive flair whilst endless layers of instrumental movement carry the track forward as it rides a catchy sub bassline. A catchy hip-hop style vocal lends itself to the transitional segments of the record, which build into a powerful climax with weighty drops to keep you on your feet. 

‘Turn On’ completes the release, bringing more percussive-driven cadence and terrace vibes. A thick combo of kicks and low-frequency rumble gets things moving whilst a captivating vocal continues to rise. A track built around energetic grooves and energy-shifting sequences, it showcases plenty of Alonso’s profound production talent.

"Black Seven Music welcomes Italian artist Mario Iobbi to the label for their 45th release with his ‘Funk’ EP.

Coming off the back of releases on Lemon Juice Records, Reiki Records, Ribox Records and many more, we welcome Italian talent Mario Iobbi for his label debut with the impressive two-track combo ‘Funk’ EP. 

The EP gets underway with ‘Funk’, diving straight into upbeat drums and pulsating sub-bass notes. Its rising musicality blends its way through a tough core of potent kicks and shuffling percussion, leading into breakdowns filled with rippling arps, reverberating vox loops and laser-like FX before punching firmly back onto the groove on several occasions. 

‘Get Back’ rounds off the release with another display of weighty rhythm work and charming melodies. Driving drums and crisp hat sequences roll the track forwards through a sea of velvety pads, playful brass riffs, soulful sampling and vox chops as the track rages on from start to finish.

The first release on the label is for Kassimil (A&R of the lab Not For Me), a young DJ and producer of Bulgarian origin who has lived in Spain for more than 15 years, based on underground, minimal sounds and influenced by great artists from the UK scene.
His power in the songs has led him to release on labels such as Nitecutz, Techaway Records, Material and many more.

US-based artist Wait For Me makes his solo debut on Unnamed & Unknown with a pumping three-track EP - titled ‘Work & Desire’.

Hailing from Charlestown, United States, DJ/Producer Wait For Me is steadily making a name for himself on the global Tech House scene. Following releases on Kubbo Records, Groovy Bone, Bella Vie Music and many more, he returns to Unnamed & Unknown following his addition to our ‘ADE ‘22’ VA with an impressive solo debut ‘Work & Desire’ EP. 

Kicking off with the title cut, ‘Work & Desire’ makes a solid beeline with rolling grooves and swirling vocal constructions. Riding potent beats and roaring low-frequency rumble, its scattered percussive energy and cleverly constructed vocal arrangements add attention-grabbing movement and character to the mix to carve out a punchy peak-time Tech stomper. 

‘The Name Is Bob’ sees Wait For Me deliver a uniquely fetching and funk-filled vibe-builder. A catchy bassline melody and undulating drum work push the track forwards through a myriad of playful twists, turns and creative fills from start to finish. A uniquely funky record with an instantly memorable character, showcasing his artistic individuality.

‘Git Get It’ brings the release to a close in style with more signature label-centric vibes and heaps of dancefloor energy. Neverending layers of rippling percussion and tonal shots create a wave of movement between firm kicks, sizzling hat grooves and widened bass notes, joining another scattered array of clever vox work and subtle musicality to deliver a delightfully underground jam.
