“The Echo of Shredded Vestibular Folds (Swallowed in the Deep Abyss)” on paper looks like a nod to long death metal song titles from Demilich and Nile, which it is, but it’s also the sauciest title on the album. This is much more of a hardcore-influenced diss track of those in the internet metal community who insist that being a stubborn bigot is the only way to be ‘trve’ and ‘kvlt’. The biggest chirp comes in the way of a nu-metal style callout breakdown, which immediately weaves into a Demilich-style off-kilter techy riff. Gang vocals at the end provided by Andre and Travis Pettipas of Alt-Rock/Power Pop band Andre Pettipas and The Giants.
