Description - In Amanda Keza’s KUCI news segment “The Gospel, The Grit, and The Glory: The Conversation on Ryan Coogler's Sinners” She dives deep into the cultural significance of the film, while entertaining the religious reflections of the themes. Keza covers the expression of positive reactions for the film and the director’s history and actions which make this movie so innovative. Appreciation for the accuracy of the period piece, along with the technical camera work that is put into the filmmaking fills Amanda’s segment. Character analysis along with comparison to the history of the time allows for her to engage the listener into their own discussion and examination. Lastly, she mostly talks about her love with the film which allows her to be able to dissect it with a passion.
