One of Anjunadeep’s earliest stars, 80s-inspired producer Michael Cassette is a much-loved favourite of fans and producers alike, with many of the labels biggest acts such as Lane 8, Yotto and Marsh taking influence from his work.

In 2010 Michael Cassette released ‘Temporarity’, only the second artist album ever released on Anjunadeep. Featuring  acclaimed singles and catalogue classics ‘Ghost In The Machine’, ‘Shadow’s Movement’ and Crockett’s Theme’, the LP won support from Eric Prydz, Laurent Garnier and James Zabiela, and soon became a cult favourite.

Marking a decade since its release, ‘Temporarity’ is being re-issued with a deluxe 10th anniversary edition, with a first ever vinyl pressing on a deluxe 2x12" vinyl release, and a collector’s edition cassette tape. The deluxe digital product also sees two new remixes from label legends Jody Wisternoff and 16BL and exclusive new streaming edits of all album tracks.

Initially released in November 2019, Nox Vahn's 'Brainwasher' became an iconic part of the Anjunadeep catalogue after features in both James and Jody's set at Anjunadeep London: Printworks and Above & Beyond’s warm up set at ABGT350.  With its foreboding spoken word verses and incomparably dark builds, the track has seen DJ support from Yotto, Oliver Smith, Jody Wisternoff, and Marsh.

Following remixes from Fatum and Genix in 2020, this January sees two new Brainwasher remixes from Washington's Enamour and Boston's Warung. Keeping to the originals' dark sound palette and rhythmic grooves, Enamour introduces an ear-worm of a synth riff in his aptly named 'Modular Lobotomy Mix'. Conversely, Warung delivers a beautiful progressive interpretation characterised by a light arpeggiated lead and a swelling chord progression.

Over a year after the release of their spellbinding 'Swallow's Nest EP', Modd return to Anjunadeep with their three-track EP 'Beyond’. With previous releases on All Day I Dream and Get Physical, the duo's melodic progressions have been championed by the likes of Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Kölsch and Pete Tong.

Title track ‘Beyond’ pairs keys and exotic strings to make the darkest track on the EP, whilst ‘Amulet' leads with hypnotic vocals. Collaborating with fellow producer Ventt, the duo close with the uplifting track ‘Dolina Vetrov’.

A fan favourite from Anjunadeep 11, 'Overtones' became renowned for its killer breaks and addictive synth riff. Heavily influenced by the sound of classic UK house music, the track has been one of the label standouts of 2020. 

A year on, Anjunadeep presents two stunning remixes from LA's Promnite and Russia’s PROFF. Boasting a back-catalogue of hip-hop and dance, and production credits with the likes of Katy Perry, Lil Yachty, and A-Trak, Promnite demonstrates a further talent for melodic and deep house in his Anjunadeep debut, offering a gripping four-to-the-floor take on the original. 

First heard on Anjunabeats Volume 15, PROFF’s remix is imbued with a classic progressive house flavour, playing the main riff through a punchy drum mix that gives way to an elegant breakdown of strings and arpeggios.

Originally from Sydney, Frost has released on Mau5trap, alongside official remixes for the likes of ZHU and Sofi Tukker. His crisp production illustrates why he has garnered support from industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong.
