Song Writer, Videographer, Radio Personality, Community Activist, Mentor/ Hip Hop Artist!!

Synopsis
Born May 20, 1991, in the inner city of Chicago, Willie Round III is a proven song writer/producer, videographer, radio personality and community activist. Raised by his single mother, Deveta Gill within the North Lawndale community. This community is referred to as the “Holy City”. Due to Willie’s activism within the community, he has garnered the name, “Prince Roc”. Rev. Bernard Lilly is credited for being a strong father figure and mentor to Prince Roc. He graduated from Kelly High School. Because of the support from his family and mentor, Prince Roc holds a BA in Communications Radio and Television Broadcasting from Central State University. 

Radio Personality / Television Broadcasting
While studying at Central State University, Prince Roc was an intern for the on campus radio jazz station: WSCU 88.9. During this internship, Prince Roc performed voice overs for WSCU and WYSO 91.3 ( a public radio station in Yellow Springs , OH). Because of his dynamic voice, He became the colleges’ official Band Announcer performing and traveling to football classics in St. Louis (Annual Gate Way Classis) and Chicago (The Windy City Classic).

Prince Roc produces a television show on CANTV titled, “All Hands on Deck”. The show is hosted by Austin Community Activist, Pastor Ira J. Acree. 

Music / Community Activist / Videography
Prince Roc’s Hip-Hop lyrical style can be compared to the likes of Kanye West, Nas and Tupac Shakur. Coming from the Holy City, much of his melodies reflect the sign of the times within the community. He is presently working on  a debut mix tape titled, “No Turning Back: Tales of the Holy City General vol1”.

Prince Roc currently owns a production company: Majesty Films. Several projects are underway. 

 “Motivated Urban To Be Determined Lifestyle” (M.U.D. Life) is Prince Roc’s very own positive movement campaign for the North Lawndale community.

DJ Mekalek is a hip-hop DJ/producer from Rhode Island, USA.  He is a member of the group, Time Machine, and has been making mixtapes for over 20 years.  Mek has worked with such legends as Wu-Tang Clan, Edo G., Masta Ace, Percee P, Greg Nice, AZ, Ghostface Killah, and People Under the Stairs.  He thinks that's pretty freaking cool, and is damn proud of it.
