A monthly collaborative project for producers. Come collab with us!

Each month we will put up a pack of samples from a different producer, this month we have a pack from the mighty District (Chestplate)! District has made a name for himself with a very distinctive sound, and even has his own series of sample packs for sale (https://soundcloud.com/district/district-dark-dangerous & https://soundcloud.com/district/sets/demo-sounds-district-dark-dangerous-sample-pack-vol-2).

Over the following month we want producers out there to download the samples and get to work creating beats. At the end of the month, we'll compile the most interesting results into a mix. And release the dopest beats for free via Deep, Dark & Dangerous.

Here's a demo District put together to show you this month's samples.

This is NOT a competition, it's a chance to interact and collaborate with other producers of the Deep, Dark & Dangerous persuasion. It's all about stimulating creativity, getting people involved and inspired. Because the end product is a mix, tracks don't necessarily need to be fully laid out, an intro leading to a sick drop concept could be just as powerful as a 5 minute long masterpiece. Just get in there and get your hands dirty, the more interesting and original the better!

This is the starting point, to get the creativity flowing. Get to work on some beats, see where the inspiration takes you. Don't limit yourself to these samples, but submissions must contain a few of these, especially the musical elements. We want to see how you interpret the source material and add your own twist.

Submissions due by 14/09/2015. Feel free to upload your track on Soundcloud and wherever else you want. However, please send your final submission to deepdarkdanger@gmail.com for consideration in the mix.
