Evolution

Arkhisium

Cinematic track with a constant but evolving staccato string backing and culminating with heavy percussion, brass and strings. It uses a broad mix of instruments. 

Cinematic Strings from full ensemble and individual sections;
Kontakt 5 Brass Ensemble is given some extra oomph from the Chapman Trumpet & Tuba;
Soundiron features prominently with all percussion from Apocalypse Ensemble and choir passages from Mars, Venus and VOR: Soprano, the Struck Grand also adds ambience in certain sections;
Omnisphere is used for synthetic lead elements and bass textures;
Cinesamples Piano in Blue blends nicely with the extra reverb added and was selected for its melodic upper register.

Horizon

A track that blends two seemingly opposing instrument collections - Sample Logics' Thunder Springs and Best Service/Eduardo Tarilonte's Desert Winds.  Also features Cinematic Strings and Soundiron's Electric Saz. 

Desert Thunder

An ethereal piece which evolved from initially playing with one of the melodic rhythms in Sample Logic's Water Harp 2. It is maintained throughout and blended with instruments such as Garritan Harps, Soundiron's Circle Bells and APE's Cymbal effects as well has a sweeping voice like pad from Water Harp 2. Three voice instruments are used: Bela D Media's Vocal Tools Soprano, Eduardo's Tarilonte's Shevannai and equisite phrases from Soundiron's Voice of Rapture: Soprano. I have also added to this ethereal mixture some effects from what might seem an unexpected source: Heavocity's Damage. One of my favourite Trillian basses plays an important role throughout.
