Il testo è stato scritto da Stefano De Benedittis mentre la musica da Paolo Pace. Questo singolo racconta una storia d'amore, immaginata e mai vissuta. Nel testo c'è una vera e propria descrizione di un ragazzo che si innamora perdutamente di una sconosciuta che incontra quotidianamente nel percorso che fa per andare a lavoro, col passare del tempo il sentimento diventa sempre più forte, ma la mancanza di coraggio è più forte che mai, così comincia a fantasticare immaginando di dichiarare i propri sentimenti. Il brano sembra una ballad jazz che nella parte finale si trasforma in una danza sensuale tra i due innamorati a ritmo di cha cha cha, con un'improvvisazione del flauto traverso.
