This week I review the VLC media player, and the results of my latest Linux Mint. Also, I completed the Salesman Travel coding challenge. And now to make it an Android app. 

Some of my favorite applications are open source. Applications like VLC were made to better the playback experience. Android OS lets you contribute to the experience of yourself and others. It truly is a great time for open source.
