Jumping from glitch hop, bass and global influences back to her drum and bass and jungle roots, she wittily combines an Eastern philosophy with Kung-Fu sounds, self-produced drum and melody samples and stepping glitch sounds with a slight metal touch

IF THE KIDS RECORDS is proud to present KungFused´s first solo EP called “Something Special 4 U”. After playing MountainBass Festival in Spain as well as parties in Berlin, Italy and Barcelona, she is constantly moving upwards creating her very own niche of bass/core/glitch sound.

On that note, her new EP dives further into glitch, crunk and fast beats combined with drum loops and harmonious melodies. Inspired by the Bay Area beat movement she brings the bass to Barcelona and combines her background as a well respected drum´n´bass and jungle DJ/producer with global influences.

Remixes are courtesy of two up-and-coming producers to watch, Neokortex from Berlin, Germany and unsoundbwoy from Melbourne, Australia. While Neokortex dives more into witch house dubstep athmospheres, unsoundbwoy comes in with a 2-step remix of Southern style drums and percussion.

Spanish artist Andrae Durden (La Coruña-Valencia), along with musical producers M.D.M.A. Música (Valencia) and KungFused (Barcelona), releases her latest work, "La Moderna Prometea".

This EP contains four songs that combine rap with different styles of electronic music such as Techno, Moombahton or HipHop with agressive beats. Inspired by science fiction novels and cosmic horror literature, the lyrics range from social criticism to "egotrip" as an inherent feature in hip-hop, but always claiming women's role inside and outside hip-hop culture.
