Hot Creations deliver ‘Words Gone’, the first single from the forthcoming artist album ‘Love Somebody’ by Parisian luminary Popof.

Featuring the handsome voice of Arno Joey, ‘Words Gone’ is a stunning slice of electronic music with crossover appeal, giving us a taster of what is in store for the album. Cadenza boss Luciano’s remix dives into tribal percussion, while main man Jamie Jones flips into a new gear, introducing a new melody, deep pads and emotive keys. Canadian techno legend Marc Houle is last to remix, using a bright synth melody to add a new groove.

Voted Best Newcomer artist at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2009, Popof has gained notoriety for his work with Cocoon, and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, and Moby. One of the most downloaded artists in techno music, he was appointed the official mentor of the Paris Techno Parade 2013's fifteen year anniversary, a great honour he shared in front of 300.000 participants.

One of the biggest names in dance music, Luciano has released on labels such as Perlon, Transmat and Lo-Fi Stereo. Aside running Hot Creations, Hot Trax and Paradise, Jamie Jones is this year launching his new imprint Emerald City alongside Lee Foss. Another huge name in the business, live artist Marc Houle can be found on imprints such as Richie Hawtin’s Minus and his own Items & Things.

Yahnkovf, one of Mexico's most influential DJ/producers and a standout name in Latin American techno, returns to Jeton Records with his second EP since 2024. A driving force in the scene since 2008, Erik delivers Pulso — four cuts of high-octane techno built for peak-time impact. Packed with raw energy, precision sound design, and relentless groove, this EP reflects his signature style with a fresh twist. As Erik puts it: "It's an honor to be back on Jeton. Pulso was created to light up the dance floor — strong kicks, hypnotic synth sequences, and a slightly different approach I hope connects with the crowd."

The loops contain brainwaves. The range is more or less from 3 cycles per second (Hz) to 13 Hz. It depends on the loop. It’s no secret that we’re big fans of Mauro Picotto here at DT. Thus any arrival of any fresh material from the inimitable Italian is greeted with a fair amount of excitement whenever it lands in our bulging inbox. Long considered one of the scene’s finest selectors and producers, Mauro really is a man who’s done it all over the past couple of decades.  Catapulting the scene out of the underground onto some of the world’s most visible platforms he’s showcased his DJ skills everywhere from Ibiza’s biggest clubs to the Turin Winter Olympics; he was even the first DJ to mix live on Top Of The Pops!

Despite all this – and our rampant fanboyism - he’d still inexplicably never delivered an edition of the DT podcast which is something we finally get to put right this week. Serving up an hour long set of selections in celebration of the release of his ninth studio album, ‘From Heart To Techno’ Mauro  has us locked in from start to finish. 

We can't imagine a better way to start the week although we’ll admit his selections have already got us eagerly eyeing up the coming weekend!
