To travel to the core of something, implies a journey into that thing’s pulsing heart. We say the ‘heart of a city’ to denote that place where cultures collide most vibrantly, vitalising the city and thus creating a feedback loop in which energy flows back out to sustain the entire system.

We find ourselves today scattered all over, but reaching out, with so much energy. But where to put this excess energy, if our community often feels like not one, but many places?

Let’s imagine CORESPHERE: Burenhinder’s very first compilation release. We are so proud to present an 18 track album, with music by some of our favourite female* artists from both our local and global community.

CORESPHERE is imagined communal space. It is a virtual universe in which chimes a sound never heard together before, in which female* sonics ring loud and clear, resonating from the centre of the sun till deep into dark matter. Our hearts aflame.

Each artist on this compilation has her own unique sound. We hope that when you listen, you will receive just the energy you needed. We have been dreaming our utopia, and now we can also listen to it, together. It has always been and remains our mission to sustain our system.
