Italian DJ/producer duo sample legendary Colombian percussionist and vocalist Orito Cantora to produce a jumpy Latin electro house anthem.

Orito Cantora is a true icon in Latin music in and around Colombia and the Caribbean, she is a founder of the first network of female percussionists within the area. Cantora lends her style from a number of influences, like Cumbia, Bullerengue, Chalupa and other traditional rhythms of the Caribbean region. Dual Beat tastefully sample Cantora’s unique vocal style and manipulate the drums into Latin house euphoria on ‘Historia De Una Morena’.

Dual Beat is comprised of two Italian friends, Antony Fennel and Roberto Lopez, who bonded many years ago over a common passion for electronic dance music. The pair unify their individual musical experience to produce energetic and explosive dance music, the sonic profile of their music is also often influenced by the pair’s Latin heritage, hence this track. With such a unique and interesting outlook on EDM, the duo has found support from across the industry, including from the likes of Bob Sinclair, Gregor Salto and Wolfpack.

Dual Beat team up with Mr Frog and Selma Hernandes for new track ‘Candela’ out 20th January 2023!

The track jumps straight in with Selma Hernandes’ unique vocals layered over an electrifying synth and growing basslines to draw the listener towards the explosive bass-filled drops that will get your heart racing. High tempos are maintained throughout the track to keep the energy pumping, winding down to a close with Mr Frog’s signature funky beat. ‘Candela’ is brimming with energy and explosivity from start to finish. 
 
The Italian DJ/producer duo Dual Beat joined forces to reach optimum musical capabilities, as their new project ‘by four hands’ birthed their current alias, Dual Beat. This duo never fail to bring their energy and explosivity to both their tracks and their sets. Dual Beat have already released previous tracks on a host of established labels, Spinnin Records, Armada and now Smash Deep and have received support from some of the biggest names in the international dance scene, from Blasterjaxx and Mousse T to WolfPack.

Italian producer Mr Frog has his musical reputation tied with funky beats and specialises in different forms of house. This track breaks the mould and provides the highest energy and deepest drops Mr Frog’s tracks have seen previously.  

The Brazilian singer-songwriter Selma Hernandes provides her signature vocals throughout the track. Selma is no stranger to collaboration, providing the vocals on multiple of Mr Frog’s previous tracks. The trio already released the single ‘Remedios’ back in June which has already been played across 105 different countries. Their global sound is bound to reach new heights with ‘Candela’.

KURA continues to take electronic music to unprecedented heights, with several releases under his belt are for labels such as Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, Spinnin Records, Tiesto’s Musical Freedom, Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, Afrojack’s Wall Recordings, and Armin Van Buuren’s Trice/Armada Music, as well as Ultra Music, and Smash The House, among others, and lots more are on the way.
Today KURA is currently one of the most hyped DJ and producers worldwide.
