Ill be honest! This cover sounds more like a Sonic mania track than something from the 80’s. It has that classic 16 bit sounding element in it mixed with high quality modern orchestra. Which gives me chills everytime I hear it!

Happy New Year my dear friends! Many of you have requested that I cover the song Good Weather from the game Gimmick!, and as ye have asked, so shall ye receive! Much love to you all.

The main synths are all Native Instruments FM8, which is itself a nearly-perfect simulation of the venerable Yamaha DX7 from 1983. Even the "steel drums" are from the DX7!

Quick little ditty mostly focused on JV-1000 patches that I got ahold of, kinda inspired by Zelda (because I'm going ham on Randomizer - catch me live on Twitch on Fridays!) but also Rise of the Triad kinda since I was watching a Civvie 11 video.

Anyway I really like those patches a lot, I find them quite a bit more usable than the ones on the more popular JV-1080, but it's what it is I suppose. It's paired up with the M1, Wavestation and the Alesis D4 in this song, and it's a pretty healthy pairing honestly.
