I find myself hearing this in my head while at work.  I've never followed the SF themes, but this arrangement, with the slap bass and the clean, airy drums really sticks it in my psyche.  I think this is currently my favorite chip tune of ALL chiptunes!

Wow, the NES sound set brings out the 80s in this BGM. I hadn't noticed its 80s-ness before! :)

An old, old Elancia & HardSpeed song fixed up for my next HardSpeed album. Glad I took another crack at this one, 'cause I think it sounds a lot better now.
The MIDI file dates back to the early 2000s, back when I was working with DJ Tubig/Malice X. The staccato chords that carry the intro of the song were his idea, built on top of a song I wrote when I was much younger. It really takes me back!

Contra 4 - Stage 1: Jungle [Vile Red Falcon] (FM)

Quick little ditty mostly focused on JV-1000 patches that I got ahold of, kinda inspired by Zelda (because I'm going ham on Randomizer - catch me live on Twitch on Fridays!) but also Rise of the Triad kinda since I was watching a Civvie 11 video.

Anyway I really like those patches a lot, I find them quite a bit more usable than the ones on the more popular JV-1080, but it's what it is I suppose. It's paired up with the M1, Wavestation and the Alesis D4 in this song, and it's a pretty healthy pairing honestly.
