소리의 힘은 대단한것 같습니다. 

음악은 제 자신을 표현하면서도, 저의 이야기를 전달하는 하나의 매체라고 생각해요. 
아이가 우는 [그림] 을 보고있으면 우리는 “아이가 우는 그림이구나” 하겠죠. 
하지만 아이가 우는 [소리] 를 들려주면 서양인들은 서양아이를, 동양인들은 동양아이를 상상하지 않을까요? 

곡의 제목과, 앨범커버는 음악을 듣기전 트랙의 첫인상이라고 생각해요. 궁금해하시는 분들께 곡의 설명을 해드린적이 있어요. 
너무 재밌다는 분들이 많아서, 이번 믹셋에는 제가 늘 작곡을 하며 생각하던 서사와 영감을 조금이나마 적어볼까 해요. 

30분 짜리 전시회라고 생각해주세요. 
듣는 분들로 하여금 하나의 그림을 보는게 아닌 각자 매번 다른 그림을 상상하는 무한한 전시회요.

I think the power of music is amazing.

For me, music is a medium that can express myself and tell my story.
If we see a ‘painting’ of a child crying, we're like, "Oh, that's a painting of a child crying." 
But when we give ‘sound’ of a child crying, don't you think Westerners imagine a Western child and Easterners imagine an Eastern child? 

I think the song’s title and album cover are the first impression of tracks before listening to them. I've explained the song to people who are curious. 
Lots of people said it’s really interesting. So, in this mixtape, I thought I'd write down a little bit of the narrative and inspiration that I'm always thinking about while composing.

Think of it as a 30-minute exhibition. An infinite exhibition where the listener doesn't see one painting, but imagines a different one each time.

바쁜 일상을 끝내고 휴식을 취할 겸 영화를 찾다가, 저는 ‘서브스턴스’라는 영화를 보고 충격을 먹었어요.

영화 속 주인공이 또 다른 나와 갈등하는 장면이 나오는데, 참 인상적이더라구요.

영화를 다 보고 나니 딱 이런 생각이 들었네요,

‘자기 자신을 사랑하자.’

그리고 그 충격과 영감을 고스란히 가져와 곡에 담아보았습니다.

다들 오늘 하루도 자기 자신을 사랑하며, 즐겁게 들어주셨으면 좋겠습니다!

After finishing a busy day and looking for a movie to relax, I watched a film called Substance and was truly shocked.

There’s a scene where the main character clashes with another version of themselves, and it left a strong impression on me.

After watching the whole movie, this thought came to mind -

“Love yourself.”

I channeled that shock and inspiration directly into a track.
