Following Lately & Kid I needed space to refine my style. I needed an album where I could really start to tell my story. Bright Lights + Low Lives was that. I'd created the cover for it back in high school in my English class w? Ms. G.
IYKYK So I knew the pressure was on. 

It released to nearly zero reception. I took it down, the homies was pissed. They encouraged me to drop it, I was stubborn and didn't. 

The lesson here is simple. Create, take the work in, cherish the moment, and respect the journey, it's far too underappreciated these days. 
Thanks for fw the oldies, I didn't wanna horde something like this to myself.

Vivid is an experimental, lofi, alternative cloud rap ballad speaking on the detachment that ego death brings, produced, mixed, and mastered to provide a grungy psychedelic lofi aesthetic! 


The intro track to Kokoro, Vivid is a recap of the Kokoro Seasons Series of albums. Consisting of "Watch||The Plan," "Shirotenshi," "Mania," and "-Kuhaku" as the culmination of 5 years of conceptualization and 3 years of production. These albums speak to my journey through the industries highs and lows. I explore my perception of the world in great depth, holding nothing back!

Vivid is a triumphant ballad with a psychedelic narrative, bouncy production, and a filthy lofi groove. Beneath the surface, Vivid is an exploration of ego death and what the world can look like when you've just come back from the depths of some of your deepest woes.

There are a myriad of themes and motifs interwoven between each track on Kokoro, In the context of this being the very beginning of the Kokoro Seasons era, or (Seasons of the Heart era) Vivid is an end to the Lows and the prelude to Seasons, the elusive LP.
