A couple of years after starting the N2MU podcast series, here we are, truly proud to celebrate with you all our 50th one. For such an occasion, we have the great honor of welcoming onboard one of the most notable electro artists in the current electronic scene. Robots and robettes, Chris Roman aka 214 (@214_electro). Renowned electro producer from Seattle who started putting out music almost 20 years ago and his outstanding music has been released on some of the best labels within the genre, Touchin’ Bass, @frustratedfunk, @cpurecords, @klakson-records, or, more recently, his double album Exposure To Winds on @2020visionrecordings. The fineness and elegance along with mighty beatlines are part and parcel of his very own sound. An enchanting crossover between electro and IDM which is actually his distinguishing mark and the cornerstone of this 50th N2MU podcast. A genuine master class on mixing and electro music. Enjoy it!

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who has become a prominent and well respected artist in the Electro scene.

She has played at the likes of Tresor, Meraki, Fold + HÖR and has a well recieved release on highly esteemed Avoidant, the Electro sub label of Soma records under her belt. 

With 5 more releases planned this year on some of her favourite Electro labels, she's set to flourish further in 2023.

EKATA is self-described as genre and sound obsessive. She has built a reputation as a huge advocate for purist Electro and an artist that orchestrates a dark and warped experience that brings energy to the dancefloor with her meticulous signature style. Her sound best personifies ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.

Lost in time

Kurt Baggaley, also known under the alias as Scape One is an electronic music producer based in England. Over the course of his career his music has ranged from driving futuristic electro of his early EPs to more deep and ambient electronica of his Tau Sagittarii releases. His output has gradually become more conceptual with works such as 2012's Natural Phases which focuses on down tempo stripped down low-fi beats with wave-formed harmonics and 2015's Former Self consisting of intricate and a slowly building hypnosis of synth sequences.
