Ha yeah I get called mean and harsh for saying it……funny I say to my students…. You are in your final placement. You have 8 weeks. Just say yes. Do it. Don’t say ‘ohhh I’m not sure…..’ just DO IT. If you are asked. SAY YES!  I didn’t give my med student an option yesterday. I said just do it. Say yes. And she was fucking glowing at the end of the day. Feels good. And my nurses on the ward are saying….gee we have a really good bunch of students….they do anything we ask……so the kids get more opportunities……just say yes. Just fucking do it.
