Cofounder of the Brussels label based Sketchy Lines records.  Born and raised in Algeria, Kamoun is a DJ and producer drawing inspiration from the instruments found in traditional Berber music. 

He confronts the tribal percussion with the heavy sound of modern electronic music, to emerge in a hypnotic state. Kamoun is obsessed with polyrhythmic drums and inspired by minimalist field and British bass culture.

We pull the curtain on 2014 through the second volume in our "All Stars" compilation series. We're proud to look back and excited to look forward to what we like to call 'high quality eclectic electronic music' - a quite elusive term for what we've been looking for and promoting since day one. 

We always conclude that each year has been the biggest and most important in our artistic development and 2014 is no different. This year we've changed pretty much everything - from our logo to our approach - bringing 3 new imprints to life as to further encourage the growth of each sonic pallete among like-minded artists and followers.

We showcased our selection of the best 100 tracks released by and within the Origami Sound collective of artists and labels through the "2 Years" compilation, which also marked the end of free/donation-based releases. 
"All Stars: Volume 1" celebrated our fanbase growth and was a testament to the variety of music that we became passionate about over the years. 

"All Stars: Volume 2" brings together 5 previously released tracks and 5 exclusive contributions into a mission statement that is better heard then read. We're looking at a really classy 2015 on all fronts with lots of surprising releases from both new and highly established artists, most of which will also see a physical release.

"Delphæ" is our 4th iteration of a series that started in 2022 which allows each De la...je l'espère resident to take the lead in curating a compilation, inviting artists of their choice.

This V/A is a direct continuation of Fatale Furylax's commitment to promoting people who are underrepresented in today's electronic music scene, which is why she decided to invite only women and producers from gender minorities.

It brings together artists who have inspired and influenced her musically, with a bass, breakbeat, textural and ambient aesthetic.

We are very excited to announce a new chapter in our journey. Here we are blazing a new trail, making our way to document and leave a first class record of sound design, Field Recording and cutting edge electronic music made in Sur América. We present our first album, 'Desde los oídos de un sapo', by our favourite amphibian, a man ahead of his time, the Uruguayan Lechuga Zafiro.

"How could I call it my sound if I had not found it myself?"

States the artist, who finished forging his outstanding musical identity on the basis of field recordings. Metal, wood, plastic, glass, rock, toads, birds, sea lions, pigs and water (in its various forms) captured in Uruguay, El Salvador, Chile, China, Argentina and Portugal, coexist and exchange harmonic and dynamic properties. By altering, editing, or simply letting the sounds manifest themselves, Lechuga generates a wide and complex rhythmic-timbral universe. These are 7 tracks that never cease to have a consistency and a fierce character. Lechuga's debut album is a milestone in Latin electronic music. This document opens a new territory, one so genuine and challenging, so real and fertile, that we are confident it will be a must-have anywhere on the planet. This collaboration is our new contribution to the mission of contemplation, so please stop, come to this frog's ear, to feel with both Pablo and us.

Meka Drina hails from Bosnia and Herzegovina with their inspirations and influences
changing on a daily basis. Their goal is to explore wide arrays of genres, tempos and
atmospheres taking inspiration from bass culture mashed with a good dose of internet
folklore. In the last year they have taken up more broadcast work having had shows and
mixes at BlueDollarBillz, Radio Rudina, Komrad and Black Teeth Records & Radio. Being
based in Zagreb for some time now they are a part of Heiße Scheiße collective which is
united in their love of faster paced, melodic sounds that amongst other includes genres such
as bass, jungle, 160, footwork, electro and various cores and similar. 
Mix they recorded for Bass Angels is a love letter to uptempo bass music as well to Bass Angels community.
