In 2000 Kushi opened his own record shop, recording studio and record label where highlights included having label tracks played by DJ Sneak, Slam, Yousef, Halo and Hippie, Pete Tong, Justin Robertson, Funk D Void to name but a few.

Some of Kushi’s other feats include having a video on MTV, various licenses from Naked music (USA) to Fabric (London) and a label track featured on a Nokia phone advert.
