Noodles in the Night

We moved to the countryside, no aqueducts, no electrical heating. Life is good here, but my God can the evenings get heavy, filling one with total disconnect, a feeling like one is fading away like sand statue in the wind!
At a night like this, I drank too much coffee - a total overdose. I tried to cope with it like a gentleman would, cool as a cucumber, but finally couldn't take it anymore and sat on the computer and played that droning melody with a trumpet sound for a few eternities.
Afterwards I was hooked and started to fiddle around with it some more, changed the trumpet to a saz, added other stuff etc. 
I feel this operates in the same field as my other piece, 'pukkelox'. This one gives me a vision of a "blue moment" on a grey and cold, cold winter's day with a dude with a dog looking over a snowy field, immersed.

This began as a sidechain-compression practice and started living on its own. Made in the afterglow of the first public tea-tasting we were organizing.
