Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Gianluca Meloni, born in Rome , made his musical path trough different styles; has been studying Piano at “Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Roma” and played in various underground bands; his big passion about music starts back when he after being listening to Tangerine Dreams first album decides to buy his first synth: a Korg MS-10.
He was a pioneer in the 90′s and was able to insert electronic seeds into an underground scene mainly ruled by Gianluca Meloni A.K.A. LAERTES
progressive rock; his most important contribution in that period was to the album “Strani Sogni” of the band SIG V, CNI Music -Italy.
His debut single “Perchè Non Parli” was a huge successs in Italy and was much more than often played in italians radio’s shows;

Not that later he mets up with Dino Sabatini, still “just” a guitarist, after a studio session and a very solid friendship, based on their common passion for music, starts to grow between them; that amazing duo soon became the “Modern Heads” project, leading both of them to play in some of the most prestigious clubs around the globe as Panorama Bar in Berlin, Brancaleone in Rome and Macumba, Madrid, AIR Tokyo, FUSE in Bruxelles, just to list few.
Some years later Gianluca together with Carlo Alfano became the founder of the project “notfromearth“, expanding his artistic view into a very well crafted new Audio & Video concept, revealing soon his high level of professionally and experience; his first e.p. on Prologue label, “Origin e.p.”, is indeed a big proof of that !.
In 2016 Start new Solo project LAERTES his new solo project, Laertes, inspired by the research of electronic music through the modular synthesis and passion for live improvisation, in which reason in his live set will always find vintage analog instruments, and modern technology.

SET HARD TECHNO 19 AOUT 2021

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Scøpe. He's a Korean techno producer and DJ, runs a SCOPÁVIK podcast series that introduces mix of techno artists from all over the world. And he is holding a regular party called SCOPÁVIK in club vurt. In 2018, he started running a record label of the same name and is establishing his own world of music. Since his debut EP in 2014, he has been constantly showing his own sounds from his every releases.

His dynamic DJ sets almost push the listeners into trance by eliciting their subconscious movements with new grooves which rhythmical structures in each track organically intertwine with each other and incrementally accumulate into, and then all of a sudden lead them to a lyrical tone, thus presenting listeners with the type of joy that only techno music can deliver by creating an intersection between reason and instinct.

Mavka is a rising star within Ukraine’s burgeoning techno scene, playing at some of the country’s freshest underground techno festivals and clubs.  Mavka’s music is dark, deep and often-psychedelic, evoking the sounds of nature’s landscapes and underpinned by an intense drumbeat. Mavka’s 90-minute mix for Codeword on @threadsradio traverses ambient and hypnotic deep-techno, towards gritty and sexy sounds which conjure up the intensity of Lviv’s dancefloors.

Madrid-Berlin based, Psyk (Manuel Anós), is a solid staple of the current techno scene and doesn't seem to have gone off course since his precocious artistic ascension. 

His sets in the best clubs all over the world (Fabric, Berghain, Fuse, DeSchool, Concrete…) have helped crystallize his DJ talents making him one of the most requested DJs on the circuit and an influent figure in a whole generation. 
Psyk's singularity and maturity are constantly present in his music. The versatility who characterizes his sets are also shown in his productions, from "Arcade" or "Eclipse"´s entraining feverish techno, his remix for Planetary Assault System´s track Twelve to darker and deeper cuts like Lowdown for Tresor or his Fall From Grace for Semantica. 

In 2014 his widely acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" is released on Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver imprint and in 2016 he releases the first record ever on the label of the mighty FUSE in Belgium. 
In 2019 he released his second album "A Moment Before" on Tresor records and also one of the most played EPs of the same year "Natural Causes" this time in collaboration with the Spanish producer Reeko.

Furthermore Manuel is regularly mentioned by the likes of Oscar Mulero and Robert Hood as one of the most interesting producers in recent years.

Like a conscientious artisan, Psyk approaches his compositions with care, adding somber power and energy through subtle touches, a process which has made him the subject of constant praise from illustrious artistic figures, be it through his offerings under the patronage of emblematic figures like Luke Slater, Len Faki, DVS1, Ben Sims stronghold labels Semantica and Tresor or even through his own label Non Series under his Maan alter-ego. Since its inception in 2011, Non Series has released collaborations by strings of prominent artists, from Silent Servant to Architectural, Chevel, Blawan, Luigi Tozzi, Function and Tadeo and has established itself as a reference in the Techno scene.

By developing, refining and purifying his sets, Psyk is focusing all his efforts on the concretization of the ideas that agitate his mind.
