Emmanuel Kwaku Awotwe, abbreviated as E.K.A which he uses as his stage name. He was born in the Central Region of Ghana in a town called Nyanyano, he later moved with his mom and two sisters from Nyanyano and settled in a town called Agona Mankrong, in the same Region where he started his rap career during his primary school days, after teaming up with Yoo-g who mentored and couched him in his early days into the rap scene, he took his first freestyle rap on GO Hard Instrumental a song by Dj Khalid this was unofficial and unrecorded. He has since recorded and released couple of tracks ever since, he worked alongside Yoo-g on Redfridaysgh (#redfridaysgh) project, the aim of redfridays was to release new song every week, the project kept going for 10 weeks making all released tracks 10 in total. 
He is yet to release his much awaited debut solo E.P titled Faith In My Soul on 8th May 2019.
